3d DCA Watch -- Dog Bites Man Edition

Hi kiddies, to be honest I'm a little sluggish this morning, I'm recovering from brisket overload -- too much Malaccan gin, women, and tashlich -- but I have summoned the energy to wade through the latest dispatch from our coffee-soaked, robe-wearing southern pontificators of all that is affirmable, yes dear readers it's that time again as we dive right in to this week's edition of 3d DCA Watch:

Boy what a relief. Luckily, once you wade through the divorce cases and criminal matters, there is really only one opinion of note this week,

Ocana v. Ford Motors:

Former Sciafe-funded Pacific Legal Foundation counsel Judge Shepherd rules against a guy who leases an obviously defective car and penalizes him because his lawyers, Consumer Legal Services, arguably could have drafted the complaint a little better.

See, what'd I tell you -- dog bites man. Next!

Kudos SFL for the update.

If anyone is tired wouldn't it be the Princess SFL? All you did was stand behind the camera.

Ouch SFL! You're right, you could write about Shepherd every week.

Sorry the princess tired you out.

Shepherd looks like he's high on laughing gas.

Brisket overload? Don't you mean bolero overload?

Shep appears to be in some sort of pain.

Despite your 'sluggishness' I appreciate the update. What's the matter SFL was the baby princess keeping you up all night?

I can't decide what's funnier-- the picture of Charlie or Judge Shepard? Seriously was someone pointing a gun to his head and forcing him to smile?

10:25-- if the Princess was keeping SFL up last night it isn't necessarily a bad thing.

I've been waiting for this post, thanks SFL.

10:25, soft music helped my kids when they couldn't sleep. Bolero not working SFL?

11:29, Bolero always works.

only the high notes

SFL, a superior post. Shepherd is, in legal parlance, a buffoon.

2:11- ditto

11:29, if music isn't helping how 'bout bouncing her on your knee?

2:11 Judge Shepard is head of the buffoon committee.

9:57, the princess tired you out SFL-
probably why she can't sleep, she's overstimulated. Say sweet dreams to the princess from me.

Actually, it's a very well-reasoned opinion. Note that the consumer's attorney declined to amend the complaint to say whether anything was actually wrong with the car. Ford did not guarantee that a car will be perfect, only that any defects will be corrected. Apparently, any defects were corrected, or the attorney would have (or should have)amended his complaint.
