So have you all read the Florida Bar complaint against Hank Adorno yet?
It's dated June 5, 2009, and deals with Hank and his firm's role in settling the now-ancient Miami fire fee class action on an individual basis, which we previously covered here, here, and here (well, sorta).
Does anyone know why it took so long for the Bar to finally file the complaint?
Also, the complaint does not specify what exact punishment the Bar is seeking, other than that Hank be "appropriately disciplined."
Hmm, sounds intriguing.
Hank's got fine counsel with Andy Berman, so maybe things are not as bleak as they seem after reading that depressing document.

First! My favorite subject, and something I know a lot about. (Broken hearts, not bar complaints.)
Is there a link to the Bar document?
I agree with the person who commented the other day.
greenberg gal would have to suffer from neurocranial damage.
no one can be that stupid, worhtless and narcissistic.
Its a total fraud. Its some dude tweaking us all.
Disbarment is the only solution (for Gal).
Andy may do a nice job of representing, but weren't there some recent references to Pigs and lipstick. Throw the book at the mo fo H do.
It took this long because the Bar was dragging its feet claiming that it could not initiate its own investigation absent a complaint.
I used to run into Hank on a regular basis a few years ago. Since then, my only contact has been reading about the great amount of charitable and pro bono work that he does. We have all read the stories. Doesn't sound pretty, but all things being equal, I think Hank has earned a fair measure of compassion nd teh benefit of the doubt for the good work that he has done and continues to do at great expense to himself and great benefit to our community.
The suggestion that some kind of fix is in with the Bar can only come from a lack of understanding of how humorless those folks are about influence-peddling.
I wish him well, as I suspect most folks who know him and know what he does do. Joe Klock
Joe, thank you for your insight and for contributing to this forum.
Joe, save that stuff for the sentencing hearing.
Ida Know which is worse:
A) The brown spot on Hank's undies?
B) The brown spot on Joe's nose?
C) The brown spot on SFLA's lips from kissing Joe's backside.
Let's vote: A, B or C?
Probably C.
