Donald Trump Is Too Busy Talking About Obama's Birth Certificate to Appear at Mediation.

I completely agree with Judge Jordan -- why should Donald Trump have to appear at a mediation when he can send a lackey his Assistant GC Alan Garten?

Question -- does "Mr. Garten" have a true live birth certificate, or just a ginned-up-in-Kenya fancy-dancy chardonnay-stained certificate of live birth?

Or maybe it's as phony as Mr. Trump's own "birth certificate"?

Let's just put it on the table -- just who is this mysterious "Mr. Garten" and why does he have Mr. Trump's "full authority"?

I'm just asking the question!

  3. I second 10:32. But if he was president, maybe we could use that hair to soak up nuclear waste. It's clearly effective at containing toxic sludge.

  4. "foisted on his own petard"

i've always wanted to write that and never had a good reason to, until now. however, i'm wrong. let's go to the tape:

    Etymology

The word petard comes from the Middle French peter, to break wind, from pet expulsion of intestinal gas, from Latin peditum, from neuter of peditus, past participle of pedere, to break wind; akin to Greek bdein to break wind. (Merriam-Webster) Petard remains a French word meaning a firecracker today (in French slang, it means a handgun, or a joint).

The word remains in modern usage in the phrase hoist with one's own petard, which means "to be harmed by one's own plan to harm someone else" or "to fall into one's own trap," literally implying that one could be lifted up (hoist, or blown upward) by one's own bomb.

  5. Of course, shoot the messenger! I don't like Trump, but what he says is right on point. It seems some sort of serious hoax may be going on when everyone keeps misrepresenting a "Certification of Live Birth" as a "Certificate of Live Birth," i.e., an unsworn nameless Hawaii state employee is telling me that a "Certificate of Live Birth" exists.

Personally, I voted for Obama, and even I simply want to eliminate the chance our President might have secured his office through fraud, an easy premise to immediately refute by producing a "Certificate of Live Birth."

I am very surprised that you appear to be unconcerned that there may be even the smallest chance that the 'leader of the free world' committed a fraud at the most basic level — can he be trusted on other matters?

President Obama has no private life when it comes to such important matters; so shooting the messenger helps no one and is just a well known technique of avoiding the message.

  6. And his parents faked the newspaper birth announcement?

I don't see much evidence to cause any real concern, though if I were the President (HAH!) I would have let the Governor of Hawaii deal with the issue as he had indicated he wanted to.
