A law blog, all done with humor, love, jealousy, and snark.
I like the intro music at the beginning, quite powerful and bold.
We want more sushi chef!!! But this time with the "powerful" musical intro from today's video.
is that a rubber room?
Why is this guy the focus of this blog? I'm very confused. Is he somehow relevant?
The beast is hungry; it must FEED
BNI is a scam. All attorneys are warned to avoid this cult/scam. They want to get inside your business, violate the the attorney client privilege and get kick backs on your fees. BNI promotes itself as a reputable business referral network. That is not true. They indoctrinate you and slowly wiggle their way inside your business by demandng more fees more bs for profit scam education classes while tracking your deposits and referrals and demanding you provide all members with business. Upon being solicited for this cult/scam call your local police department and then the attorney general's office of Florida. DO NOT GO TO A MEETING. THEY CAN BE VERY PERSUASIVE promising lots of new cases and fees and using scripted "testimonials" at the end of the meeting to try and trick you into believing they are all thriving. In fact they are all MULTI LEVEL MARKETING SCAMMERS VAMPIRES looking amd needing ffresh blood.
3:10: I feel like you're holding something back. Just get it off your chest and you will feel better.
"The narrower the mind the broader the statement" - Ted CookThere are very few things that amuse me in life; however, sheer ignorance does. To state BNI is a cult is a broad statement . To compare the Attorney's Breakfast Club to BNI is like comparing Bernie Madoff to Charles Schwab. With Madoff one was promised the world. Blind trust with great expectations and promises. With Schwab you invest wisely with full knowledge upfront and after time, have much to show for your investment. Apples to Oranges. Since one feels the need to write so strongly about an event he/she has never attended let me set the record straight. With the Attorneys Breakfast Club what you see is what you get. A group of attorneys looking to meet fellow professionals to form a lasting business relationship. There are no hidden agendas, obligations and definitely no sitting around waiting for the Hale-Bopp comet to come to board our cult- like space craft. Just fellow attorneys looking to help each other and meet new contacts to expand our practice. In addition there are great lectures that challenge one's thoughts and usually gives an understanding into an area of law that may be unfamiliar to others. That knowledge can then be passed along to potential clients looking for someone to handle their case.Happy hours and business lunches are great, but really just an excuse to get out of the office and let loose. The Attorneys Breakfast Club offers much more. The name alone sets this group apart. You will not be sitting next to a plumber, a florist or a dry cleaner. While these are all admirable professions, they are not necessarily the type of business connections one is looking to make. With Attorneys Breakfast Club there is one attorney per speciality, a cozy setting pertinent for conversation and a good time to fellowship and exchange new ideas/current legal issues. And as far as a referral service it's not an obligation. If you meet a fellow attorney who you think could handle a case adequately you refer them. This referral is not mandatory, not the basis for the group and is not advertised or reported. It stays between the two attorneys. And to think one is going to give access to any type of accounts, deposits or referrals is comical at best. So, I invite anyone reading this and slightly curious to attend a meeting and see what this group is all about. As far as joking about the gentleman in the video advertisement. Consider this: "Your dreams come true when you act to turn them into realities" what are you doing with your life besides criticizing one for daring to be a trail blazer?-Anonymous
