Lewis Tein State Court Motion for Discovery!

Today is a scheduled hearing in state court regarding discovery sought by Lewis Tein against the Miccosukee Tribe and the plaintiff's lawyers.

The topic of the discovery?

Alleged collusion between the Tribe and the Bermudez plaintiff's lawyers to concoct "sham" allegations against Lewis Tein.

It's an aggressive motion, to the say the least, and you can read the whole thing here.

The allegation is that LT committed perjury or, at a minimum, misled the Court by suggesting that the Tribe did not pay them to represent the defendants. Right?

Now they argue that, by turning over checks showing that the Tribe did pay the defendants' legal bills, the Tribe somehow committed a fraud on the Court and against them and can't be heard to complain about allegedly tortious conduct during that representation?

I'm confused.
