Runoffs, Recounts and Retribution: Oh, My!

Raquelita has declared victory in leading an underhanded, self-serving campaign to deny the citizens of Miami-Dade County a safe, modern civil courthouse that does not expose them to unhealthy environs in forcing a November runoff with incumbent Mayor Gimenez.

Incumbent County Court Judge Seraphin finds himself in a recount with challenger Milena Abreu, separated by a mere 689 votes.

And the race that has captivated Rumpole's Blog results in Judge Bloch waking up faced with the task of re-entering the practice of law. As long as Florida elects its state court judges, incumbent judges face defeat each cycle. C'est la vie, I guess.

Another Day in Paradise.
