Pussygate

I woke up from a perfectly good hurricane party hangover to this.
Donald Trump trained his wrath on the leaders of his own party Sunday, slamming them as “hypocrites” for abandoning him, and predicting they will lose in November.
A slew of Republicans ― especially those in tough election contests ― fled the sinking Trump ship after recordings surfaced Friday of The Donald admitting to predatory sexual behavior.
Continuing to support a presidential candidate who once declared he could get away with sexual assaulting women seemed like a terrible idea to people like Sens. John McCain (R-Ariz.) and Kelly Ayotte (R-N.H.), who as recently as last week were defending their party’s White House nominee.
Even House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.), who did not unendorse Trump the way many colleagues did, disinvited Trump from a rally in Wisconsin on Saturday.
But Trump is not going away, or taking it quietly. In a flurry of tweets and retweets, he hammered Republicans for being offended by the idea of a commander in chief who professed on tape that he likes to grab women “by the pussy.”
Civil Wars aren't just for comic book heroes! Here's a fight where everyone loses! The rats are leaving the sinking ship!
More than two-dozen elected Republican officials rescinded their endorsements of GOP nominee Donald Trump Saturday or called on him to exit the presidential race, sending his already flagging campaign into a tailspin as the party struggles with whether to continue backing him.
In an unprecedented desertion of a major party’s nominee, the steady stream of un-endorsements began Friday evening and continued through Saturday with senators, House members and several governors saying they could no longer support or vote for Trump after a 2005 audio recording surfaced Friday in which he made lewd remarks about women, including comments about making unwanted sexual advances.
Top Republican officials, including Speaker Paul Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, didn’t back off their support of Trump after condemning his comments Friday evening, and RNC Chairman Reince Priebus, who issued a highly critical statement Friday, didn’t rescind his support either. The majority of renouncements came from rank-and-file Republicans, most of whom said they would either write-in vice presidential nominee Mike Pence’s name on their ballots, or called on Trump to step aside in favor of his running mate.
Christmas in October.

One line of reasoning defending Trump goes "If American Women are so offended by dirty talk, then who bought all those copies of 50 Shades of Grey" as if a consensual BDSM relationship is somehow equivalent to being groped without consent. Not even close apologists.

Another defenses is that "all men do it." That's bullshit. If that's your opinion of men you don't know any good ones. Even the satanic church states that sex should only be initiated when invited. Donald Trump, more rapey than Satan.

Trump is the gift that keeps on giving. First we got to see which of our friends and neighbors were racists. Now we get to see who's down with rape culture. Boys will be boys.

  1. Long term I'm more worried about Pence, his malevolent twisting of humility, transparency, redemption and forgiveness in "accepting" Trump's bs non apology was frightening.

  2. I told you in 2008 that there was something dark and ugly hiding in the corner of American politics. This is it coming to light.
