That scoundrel, Marco Rubio discredited himself even further yesterday:
For about a year, Rubio has said little publicly about why he won’t allow a vote on Mary Barzee Flores. South Florida’s legal community lobbied Rubio heavily at first, then began to accuse the Republican of partisanship in blocking the Democrat. And many say his new explanation is more of the same. 
But Rubio and his office say there has been so much misinformation spread that he now feels compelled to go public with unflattering specifics about Barzee Flores that, out of respect to her, he tried to keep quiet.


Nothing like using the power of political office to smear a decent, talented public servant who would make a wise and fair federal jurist.
