The brilliant writer Jenny Staletovich covers the continued eradication of South Florida's natural history here.   One hundred eighty six thousand acres of environmentally diverse Pine Rockland forest, down to two percent of its original size (and here come another Wal-MAR) in the name of "progress."

I'm calling it a day and heading out on the boat, to bask in and marvel at the natural beauty that surrounds us.  Before climate change wipes Miami off the map.

Happy Thursday!

  1. Me too! Have a great long weekend bubbes

  2. Good article. Makes we want to joint Tropical Audubon society to help in clean up and help fight development scum.
